You have a life coach. You are committed. You are excited.

Here are my TOP 3 TIPS to get the most out of your coaching sessions.

  • Fill out your session prep sheet and send it to your coach BEFORE the coaching call
    • You can do this days before, hours before or minutes before. But always DO IT! Think about the questions on the sheet and be as detailed or simple as you prefer.
  • Spend time thinking about your session (at least) a few minutes before the session
    • If your session call is at 10 AM start at 9:45 AM. Get your session prep form in front of you. Do a check in with yourself. Bring your focus and attention to coaching and what you want to get out of it.
    • If you want to focus on something different than what you sent on your prep sheet to your coach, that is OKAY!
  • Space your sessions out appropriately for what you want to accomplish between sessions.
    • If you like to keep your goals simple and prefer to accomplish tasks in small increments, then have a coaching session each week.
    • If you prefer to tackle an entirely new concept, try it out for a week or two then report back to your life coach then do that!
    • If it is a process, have set coaching sessions along the way to make sure you can tackle roadblocks that might pop up. Think about what you are committing to do before the next session and make sure you have time to do it.
